Here's another Hall of Famer featured on a low-number card from the remarkable 1952 Topps issue, New York Giants outfielder Monte Irvin. This example features a suitably centered image that offers an impressive color scheme, including a midnight blue hat atop Monte's head that contrasts beautifully with the pastel background and set of "pearly whites" that are the centerpiece of the image. The borders are creamy white with corners that are clearly within the standards for the opined grade. Only 6 have grade higher.
