Dick Groat's famous 1952 Topps rookie card may be one of the more common '52 Topps rookie high-numbers to find in top grades, but it's still a 1952 Topps high-number star rookie! Groat gained notoriety for his MVP award-winning play in 1960, the same year the Bucs beat the Yankees in the World Series on double-play partner Bill Mazeroski's Game 7 walk-off home run. Solid NM+ corners support equally high-grade edges around a finely registered image of the rookie against a nearly immaculate MINT backdrop. A true high-ender!
