The 1956 campaign saw the New York Yankees capture their 5th World Series Championship in seven years after winning 97 regular-season games and drawing nearly 1.5 million fans to Yankee Stadium. Bolstered by the likes of Berra, Mantle, Ford, Rizzuto and Martin, the lineup would prove too much for the Brooklyn Dodgers to overcome in the Fall Classic. The offered commemorative pasteboard bears the grade of NM/MT 8 as decided by PSA, displaying near-perfect centering and a fresh-looking layer of factory gloss. Corners are well within the standards for the given grade and the reverse is clean and blemish-free.
