Black-back varieties of the 1952 Topps low-series are a little tougher to find than the red-backs, and this William Werle black-back is one of the toughest, boasting only 5 others in the PSA 8 classification with just one higher. Exhibiting a mild preference for the southwest corner but well within PSA standards for NM/MT, this example also flaunts NM/MT to NM/MT+ corners and edges and strong colors, most noticeably the black and yellow Pittsburgh Pirates colors. No telling when another of these rare beauties will be available, so grab it while you can!
