When the Colorado fishing hatcheries were afflicted several years ago with what biologists deemed "whirling disease," the unfortunate result was a bunch of Dizzy Trout...yeah, I know, everybody wants to be a comedian, right? All joking aside, this '52 Topps Paul Trout example shows two corners that appear strong for the grade along with a pair that exhibit very mild touches, and a subtle rough cut is present on the right side. A light silhouette of what is most likely Tiger Stadium can be made out through the rust-colored background, adding a certain level of mystique to the pasteboard. This is 1 of just 6 in the black back variety with none higher on the PSA pop report.
