Dodger pitcher Joe Black’s 1953 Topps card is designated as a short print, and is rather scarce in high-grade. This recently-graded NM/MT 8 specimen shows adequate centering and no chipping along the red top reverse border. An ample supply of factory gloss adorns the surface, and just a slight touch to the upper right corner prevents a higher grade. Only four examples have ever received higher grades to date.
