Up for auction is a delightfully presentable example of Willie's classic 1952 Topps issue, graded GAI NM/MT 8. Centered squarely and with just a marginal preference for the top border with a magnificently intact, chip-free, but still slightly rough-cut MINT to even GEM MINT perimeter at every single point on both surfaces except for the top right NM/MT+ corner. The image itself is as bold and print-free as any other example in its elevated NM/MT class, but there appears to be a microscopic surface imperfection in the exact middle of the card on Willie's mouth, which is no doubt the catalyst for the seemingly conservative grade, as every other feature but the one NM/MT+ corner appears to be in incredibly pack-fresh MINT condition. A fantastic bargain for a NM/MT example of a long-cherished industry icon that presents in nearly immaculate MINT condition. You've always wanted, heck, deserved one that looked this nice, and now is your chance! Hey!
