The 1958 Topps Roger Maris rookie card is one of those issues you see around at shows all the time in VG/EX to EX to EX/MT condition, but rarely will you find a really stunning high-grade specimen. Well prepare to be stunned! This incredible BVG 9 MINT example has retained all of the elite characteristics of a true MINT blazer. Precise centering (very tough for this issue) is enhanced by glowing orange color combined with a confident canopy of gloss across the surface. The four corners all fit the criteria of the MINT grade, with three of them making a case for MINT+ to GEM MINT status. The reverse is completely clean with deep bold text and the appearance of a freshly minted card. This is one of the nicest '58 Maris rookie cards you will ever see.
