George "Firebrand" Stovall was a hot-tempered first baseman for the Indians who saved Addie Joss' perfect game in 1908 by digging out a low throw from third baseman Bill Bradley. He was also one of the first stars to join the ill-fated Federal League in 1913. Graded NM 7, this example of his T206 issue displays scintillating background color and a captivating and fully detailed image. Centered a bit to the northeast, and exhibiting minimal corner touches consistent with the given grade.
