The presented example of Joe Tinker's T206 "Portrait" variation displays accurate centering and exceptional visual appeal with noticeably above-grade corners and edges for the mark of EX+ 5.5 from GAI. The Piedmont ad back shows some minor red ink in the right field from stacking, but every other facet looks minimally EX/MT to NM. A "1st Graded" specimen from Global, perhaps the boys in San Clemente were a bit too cautious with this one. An appealing upper mid-grade specimen of a T206 perennial favorite.
