Up for your caramel-coated consideration is one of the very finest 1915 Cracker Jack Eddie Collins examples in existence. As 1 of just 2 scintillating specimens in its class with only 1 higher, this dazzling slice of iconic cardboard is bound to entice even the largest whales on the Set Registry leader board who desire only the best for their cherished Cracker Jack sets. Even a quick examination confirms why this incredibly sharp specimen deserves to stand above the overwhelming majority of PSA 8's in whose company it used to be considered. With MINT corners joining GEM MINT edges around a clean and tolerably centered front surface, it would be a grave injustice to limit this card to a grade of NM/MT. The centering is accurate but displays a tilt favoring the northeast, while the surface, although blemish-free, does show some microscopic splashes of red extending into the bone-white borders. Every other feature, however, is at least MINT. A testament to the need for half-grades at PSA, this sumptuous Cracker Jack would of course also make an admirable addition to any high-grade pre-war HOF collection, especially considering Eddie's MVP achievement of the previous season, his last with the historic A's club with whom he is proudly pictured for posterity on this masterpiece CJ.
