Upon first glance, the unblunted corners and edges, accurate centering, and bold and near perfect registration might confuse the enthusiast who has been lucky enough to behold this card in a PSA MINT 9 or even PSA GEM MINT 10 holder. It truly possesses all the attributes of a far superior specimen. The only conceivable imperfection in favor of the harshly conservative grade from PSA is some age discoloration throughout the front border and particularly near the edges encompassing the reverse corners. There is also a minute spot left of Lou's front knee as well as a similar spot on the reverse, just above the "G" in Goudey.
