When the Babe hit home run number 60 in the 1927 season, baseball fans figured that they saw an event that will never take place again. Well it did take 34 years but an unlikely fellow pinstriper in Roger Maris became the next in line to notch #60 on Sept. 26th, 1961 in front of just 19,000 spectators at Yankee Stadium. Here's a ticket stub from that history-making event with notations on the reverse to memorialize the significance of the game. A must-have for any ticket collector.
