This 1941 baseball writer's pass was issued to Ken Smith of the New York Daily Mirror and earned him admission to any baseball game in the country. Hopefully he got to see a lot of Red Sox games, because Ted Williams was incredible that year, posting a .406 average, the last time a major-leaguer topped the .400 plateau.
