Here's a neat little collection of baseball and football-themed postcards, some with writing and canceled stamps and some unused. Various sports stadiums are pictured, including Baltimore Stadium, Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Chicago Stadium, California Memorial Stadium, Soldier Field, Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg, and Cleveland Municipal Stadium. One that appears to date from the 19th century depicts a drawing of a baseball player with "BUM" on his jersey and the caption "You can't put 'em over." A nice little lot for the collector of esoteric items.
