The W. P. Jeffries Company of Los Angeles, California issued this boxing themed "Jefferies' Championship Souvenir" playing card deck in 1909, a standard 52-card deck that depicts the greatest boxers of the day (Sullivan, Sharkey, Fitzsimmons, etc.) as well as various fight scenarios in the center of the cards. The card backs feature heavyweight champion James Jeffries dressed in street clothes and the edges are gold lined. The offered complete deck is EX to EX/MT condition overall with only the joker needed for completion and comes with the original box.
