In 1998, a vote was taken to name the 100 greatest hockey players and Gordie Howe was ranked #3 all-time (behind Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr) as the top winger. Following up his rookie card appearance in 1951, "Mr. Hockey" is presented on this brightly colored 1952 Parkhurst card, offering clean color and bonafide NM/MT endpoints at all four sports. The reverse is pleasingly pack-fresh, with deep black print laid cleanly on the spotless slate gray canvas. With just one graded higher, it's a prized piece for any avid hockey card collector.
