Credited along with fellow artist Alton Kelly as the creator of the Grateful Dead's iconic skull and roses imagery, Stanley Mouse was the primary artist for the band's concert posters and album covers for the majority of its career. His original artwork is highly sought after by Deadheads and rock and roll memorabilia worldwide. The offered piece is one of the more striking and alluring that we have seen, with dazzling bold pigments and extraordinary detail. He has signed the piece in yellow ink and the copyright date reads 1992. Done on Arches parchment measuring approximately 15" x 22" with framed dimensions of 21" x 27". A fantastic attraction deserving a home in any rock and roll memorabilia collection.
