Considered by many to be the greatest sports team ever assembled, members of the 1927 New York Yankees gather in this 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" team photo from spring training. Players in the top row, including Ruth and Gehrig, are identified in an unknown hand and the photo is in fantastic condition with minimal wear. Written on the reverse is a caption identifying the 1927 Yankees in spring training with a "photo by Ray Williams" stamp.
