Hank Borowy compiled a 108-82 lifetime record from 1942-51 with five teams, winning a World Series with the Yankees in 1943. In retirement, the New Jersey native used his lifetime pass to attend Yankees games and showed up to support the Bombers at the 1955 World Series. Along with new HOF inductees Joe DiMaggio, Ted Lyons and Gabby Hartnett, Borowy met baseball legends Cy Young and Tris Speaker as well as Yankees that were playing in the series. The featured OAL (Harridge) ball contains 15 signatures that were acquired by Borowy on Sept. 28, 1955 with Cy Young taking up the sweet spot. It was the last game Young would attend as he passed away just over a month later. Many signatures have faded to varying degrees but the penning of Young and Tris Speaker are particularly strong. Also includes Cerv, DiMaggio, L. Gomez, Hartnett, Hemsley, Henrich, B. Johnson, Kucks, Lindell, Lyons, Mize, Reynolds and Rolfe.
