Fans who attended the 1951 All-Star game in Detroit were treated to an 8-3 National League victory with six different players launching homers. It was the final mid-summer classic appearance for Joe DiMaggio and when manager Casey Stengel chose Bob Lemon over Bob Feller for the team, Feller responded by pitching his third career no-hitter in his next outing. The featured ball carries 23 signatures from the American League squad with legends DiMaggio and Ted Williams sharing the sweet spot. Other signatures include Minoso, Busby, Doerr, Lopat, Fain, Gumpert, Carrasquel, Hegan, D. DiMaggio, Hutchinson, Henrich, Parnell, Doby, Lemon, E. Robinson, Marrero, Rizzuto, Wertz, Stengel and Garver. the signature of Kell has been deemed clubhouse and "1950 All-Star game" is written in an unknown hand though it is actually the 1951 game. LOA from PSA/DNA.
