Often overlooked among the likes of Ty Cobb and Rogers Hornsby, Larry Lajoie did plenty to assault the baseball record books by posting five batting titles and setting the all-time record for batting average in a season with a .426 clip in 1901. "Nap" appears in his signature batting stance on this rare M110 Sporting Life cabinet, evaluated at SGC 10 POOR 1.
The card exhibits only moderate corner wear but is restrained by evidence of pinholes in the corner and at the center of the top border. However, the central image is superb and rivals that of the revered T3 Turkey Red series, though far more scarce.
