Arguably the most appealing hockey card ever produced and certainly one of the most elusive to find in elite-grade, Wayne Gretzky's O-Pee-Chee debut card is a requirement for any advanced collection. Unlike the Topps card, his OPC issue is usually marred by woeful centering or excessive chipping from the crude cutting process, often both. But this museum-quality specimen has managed to sidestep both pitfalls, delivering a near perfectly framed presentation of "The Great One" within its bold, blue border. Even with the normal rough cut that lines every edge, the corners remain in solid MINT condition with no more than the inevitable chipping. The reverse is equally well-centered, uncommonly bright and completely problem free, flaunting deep blue coloring and sturdy black print that touts Gretzky's incredible 46 goals in his 60-game rookie year.
