Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. The offered keepsake is the type of cardboard gem that evoked feelings of glee and lust upon school yards across America in 1960. Glee for those who possessed the horizontal creation that captured the image of the great Mickey Mantle in all of his majestic glory. And lust for those who hadn't yet reached the zenith in their pack opening haze of finding the leader of the Bronx Bombers in their wax rendered treasures. A stunning image of Mickey, posed against the green seats of the old Yankee stadium holding one of his war clubs slung over his shoulder, as if a conquering hero. The red and yellow of this brightly colored pasteboard frame the scene with a near reverence not usually accorded to baseball cards. The corners show ever so slight evidences of "touches" at the extreme tips of two of the corners, fully retaining their NM/MT formation. The reverse is a splendid palate of gray with no evidence of any disturbances.
