Conservatively graded PSA 7 NM, this 1961 Fleer Wilt Chamberlain rookie card simply looks superior to many higher graded issues. Considering the centering issues that plague this set, this example is among the upper echelon, with only an ever-so-slight bias to the upper right. Even so, it is within the parameters of PSA 8 and possibly PSA 9. Vivid, flawless colors come alive on the spot-free MINT quality surface and meticulously complement the black and white image of the rookie Chamberlain, one the greatest practitioners of the sport of basketball. Other than some small imperfections on the corners which seem to have been evaluated harshly, this is a fabulous specimen that can hold its own amongst the best out there. You would be hard-pressed to find another PSA 7 to rival this one!
