The presented example of Hank Aaron's 1954 Topps rookie issue has been graded PSA 6 EX/MT but displays a number of superior virtues for its technically correct but seemingly conservative grade from PSA. In short, the only grade-appropriate feature throughout is its EX/MT edges, which each display moderately even wear, each one appearing less aggravated than the last. The centering is extremely accurate for the grade, the edges appear good enough for NM/MT, and both surfaces as well as the surface image are incredibly immaculate, bordering on GEM MINT. A positively shimmering Aaron rookie, unprecedented in its EX/MT 6 class.
