This certificate was presented to Sunny Jim Bottomley (as James Leroy Bottomley) upon his acceptance to the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (A. A. S. R.) of Freemasonry. Though it's unclear whether Bottomley accepted membership since his signature does not appear on the left margin. A passport type black and white photo of Bottomley is attached and the piece is signed by the Commander-In-Chief and Secretary of the organization's Supreme Council. Measures 11 3/4" x 15 3/4" unfolded.
