Forty-one years after Hall of Famer Jim Bottomley recorded a league-leading 20 triples, 31 homers and 136 RBI en route to a National League pennant, the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) presented this award to the widow of the 1928 National League MVP. The eye-pleasing metal-on-wood plaque measures 9" x 12" and originates from the Bottomley estate.
