You might wonder how Larry Doyle ended up as part of a series that features Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Home Run Baker, and Hal Chase, but Doyle was an elite player for his day. The 1915 National League batting champion, "Laughing Larry" beat out Honus Wagner for the 1912 NL MVP award. This amazingly alluring "Fan for a Fan" of Doyle was distributed at the stadium in 1910 and features a wonderfully delivered image of Doyle on a circular fan that shows typical light wear and discoloration around the circumference. The staples that hold the fan to the stick appear clean and fresh. Framed to an overall size of 17 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 1 1/4".
