Signed "Cassius Clay" in real-time, the boxer who would become known as Muhammad Ali has signed his birth name in bold black marker to this March 6, 1964 cover of Life Magazine, depicting the young, sweat-laced champion following his knockout of Sonny Liston to win the belt.
