Here's an extensive collection of items belonging to Hall of Famer Jim Bottomley's wife Betty, given to his estate following her passing in 1977. In addition to her pocketbook, there is the memorial book from her funeral service and numerous sympathy cards, indicating donations to the Sunny Jim Bottomley Park in St. Louis, a Yellow Hall of Fame postcard dated 18 August 1976 and mailed by Betty to an acquaintance in Sullivan, MO, six insurance identification cards, and two Social Security cards, one signed and one unsigned, showing her name as Betty C. Tucker when she remarried following Jim's death. Also present is a white ribbon reading "Mother" which is possibly from her memorial service.
