Offered is a stunning Wilson “Boys Amateur” baseball that features the scintillating script of the greatest hitter the game has ever known, Babe Ruth along with the signature of what many believe to be the finest pitcher in the history of the game Walter Johnson! The Bambino has penned his remembrance on the side panel in a concise detailed dark fashion grading a strong “8”, that seemingly gives the viewer of today the understanding that even as “The Babe” signed this ball he knew its very importance. The “Big Train” Walter Johnson has added his scarce signature to a panel on the other side of the ball in a matching almost imitating stance as if not to upstage the grandest player in the game with his signature grading a “7” overall. It should be noted that the ball does display a deeply faded signature of Hall Of Famer Clark Griffith on the sweet spot that rates as a 3; but that each the Ruth as well as Johnson signatures can be displayed as singles with absolutely no interference from the Griffith signature.
