Snapped by renowned photographer George Burke, this approximately 4" x 6" photo depicts Hall of Famer Al Simmons with a young child, likely a team batboy. The photo has some light creasing that is difficult to see unless held at an angle and was once mounted in an album as evidenced by the staining on the back. Signed in bold fountain pen with the inscription, "My kindest wishes to Wayne Hurst Sincerely Al Simmons, Nov. 21st/45."
