Perhaps the most elite football collection ever produced, the label on the outside of this 2017-18 Panini Football National Treasures case says it all, "8 cards per pack, 1 pack per box, 4 boxes per case." It seems like quite an ostentatious production for a grand total of 32 cards, oh but this particular Panini product is exactly that! Loaded with significant rookie cards, limited edition parallels, and signature and memorabilia cards, this collection has produced some of the most highly-prized pasteboards of the modern era. Earning the most attention among collectors are the Rookie Patch Autographs, the most coveted of rookie cards. Numbered to only 99 examples, they all have the jumbo swatch to go with the signature. Another key attraction is the Synched Signatures subjects, bringing together a pair of signatures from past legends on an acetate card, each having no more than 25 copies. With various other parallel cards that display combinations of patches and autographs that are limited to just 10 copies, or 5 copies, or even are submitted as unique 1/1 specimens, the potential within the packs is virtually limitless. Rookies making their debut in the various subsets are Deshaun Watson, Christian McCaffrey, Kareem Hunt, Leonard Fornette, Dalvin Cook, Joe Mixon, Alvin Kamara, and the grand prize of the series, Pat Mahomes. An investment piece sure to increase in value as the rookies mature, with Mahomes and McCaffrey already ranked among the best in the league at their respective positions.
