Amid the flood of autographed Lebron James RCs out there from various issues, the SP Authentic issue stands out from the crowd for several reasons, including its relative scarcity in comparison to most and its attractive simplicity. But this goes a giant step further as this SP Dual Signatures card has the rookie "King James" joined by none other than the GOAT Michael Jordan. It might seem a bit presumptuous to pair a rookie fresh out of high school with a superstar as unparallelled as the great MJ, but LeBron's arrival on the NBA scene received no less fanfare than the arrival of Lew Alcindor, and his overall body of work to this point has justified the card companies faith almost 20 years later. Both signatures are delivered in clean, bold ink and placed in the very center of their respective signing area, with a stoic portrait show of each living legend to the right. While the card is not numbered like many other specialty examples, it is thought that no more than 25 were issued. With only 13 examples having been assessed by PSA, we tend to believe that number of 25 to be valid. MJ and LeBron and considered by some historians to be the two greatest players ever to wear an NBA uniform, and as time goes by and LeBron wraps up what will no doubt be a stellar career as quite possible the all-time leading scorer in NBA history, the winning bidder of this amazingly rare piece could one day see this beauty become the most coveted example ever dedicated to the hardcourt.
