In the long history of American baseball, there has never been a player quite like Seattle outfielder Ichiro Suzuki. Already a sensation in his native Japan, having won three league MVP awards and seven batting titles, Ichiro chose to take his talents to America and didn't miss a beat! In his 11-year career in Seattle, still going at age 38, Ichiro has topped 200 hits 10 times, won 2 batting titles, stolen 423 bases, and appeared in 10 all-star games. And let's not leave out his 10 Gold Gloves as well. Combining his American and Japanese career, Ichiro has amassed over 3,700 hits, 622 stolen bases, 17 Gold Glove Awards, and a lifetime .335 batting average. Offered is the game-used jersey of future Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki, worn during the 2001 season when he first arrived to America as a 27 year-old "rookie." Appropriate Russell Authentic Collection tagging and "2001" team label appears on the front left tail. The left sleeve has the "All-Star Game 2001 Seattle" patch with the "100 seasons American League 1901-2001" patch on the right sleeve. Some markings from game-use are evident. An incredible gamer that marks the beginning of Ichiro Suzuki's 2nd Hall of Fame caliber career! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
