Offered is an exceptional game used glove from the incomparable Ken Griffey Jr. Griffey Jr. He entered the game with not just mere potential. From the day the Seattle Mariners made him the first pick in the 1987 MLB Draft, Ken Griffey Jr. was expected to be great. Twenty-two seasons, 630 home runs and a sea of accolades later, the kid dubbed “The Natural” delivered everything his skills and makeup promised. won 10 consecutive Gold Glove Awards from 1990-99. Griffey Jr. was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016, receiving the all time highest percentage of the vote. “Rawlings” manufactured, “Pro T-13” model glove with “TRAP EZE” web style. On the wrist is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag. On the outside thumb area reads the player name, “Ken Griffey Jr.” embroidered in gold-colored stitching. Adjacent is a Rawlings logo embroidered. On the palm reads, “HEART of the HIDE” and below reads, “Rawlings” in gold-colored font. Adjacent on the inside of the pinky area reads, “PRO-TD”. Features include: reinforced web lace, FastBack finger holdster and welting. The back laces were stretching and Griffey Jr. requested the glove to be re-laced. This glove is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding with excellent player attributes. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA and signed by John Taube.
