Often remembered as a rampaging wild man charging the umpire during the infamous "pine tar" incident, 3rd baseman George Brett was one of the greatest 3rd basemen in the history of baseball. A 12-time all-star and member of the 3,000 hit club, Brett was also a 3-time batting champion and hit .390 season in his MVP award winning 1980 season. The offered jersey was worn by Brett during the 1988 season and sports a Rawlings size 44 label and "Set 1 1988" tag inside the left front tail. Game use is evident with some pilling and stains exhibited as well as some fraying on the Royals' logo. With game-used knits from the 70s and 80s becoming increasingly desirable and valuable, don't miss an opportunity to land this Hall of Famer, a member of baseball's "All Century Team."
