All-time hit king Pete Rose removed the "player" from his title of player/manager and took the reins of the Cincinnati Reds on a full-time basis in 1987, wearing this Rawlings size 44 gamer as skipper. The Rawlings label and 'Set 1 1987" flag are sewn inside the front left tail with the iconic "ROSE 14" on the reverse stitched onto the back in white thread.
