After a brief stint with the Padres in 1982, outfielder Tony Gwynn began his official rookie season the following year and joined 19 other teammates in signing this San Diego Padres commemorative baseball. Along with the signature of Gwynn, which appears at the bottom of one of the side panels, other notable signings include, Dick Williams (on the sweet spot), Show, Bevacqua, Wiggins, Bonilla and Lansford.
