One of the finest hitting 3rd baseman in major league baseball history, George Brett won three American League batting titles and was a runaway winner of the American League MVP award in 1980 with an incredible .390 batting average. His 3,154 career hits ranks him as #15 on the all-time list and his weapon of choice was the thick-handled Louisville Slugger model K55, one of which is now offered and was used by Brett during the 1980s. A black marker "5" is written on the knob and moderate game use is evident, with many scratches, rack marks, ball marks, and faded signs of pine tar exhibited. A fantastic gamer from one of baseball's best! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
