One of the more popular "modern" basketball rookie cards comes from the 1980 Topps set, featuring debut appearances of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson flanking the great Julius Erving. The offered example has been graded NM 7 by PSA but offers many above-grade qualities including colors, corners, and centering. Also of note is that the roller line that often appears at the bottom of the Magic Johnson card is absent.
