The villainous lord Darth Vader looms large on the top of this full box of 36 unopened wax packs from the second series of Topps' The Empire Strikes Back release. The Star Wars saga continued in 1980 with the second installment of the film franchise, finding Luke Skywalker and the rebels establishing a new base on a remote ice planet, desperately hoping to avoid detection by Vader and the evil Empire. The box itself is in overall EX or better condition, and while a couple of the packs show small perforations at the corners, most are minimally EX/MT or better. A fine item, representing what many consider to be the best film of the franchise.
