With Bill Veeck at the helm, the Chicago White Sox began a roller coaster ride of unusual marketing promotions ranging from the absolutely brilliant to the utterly bizarre. One such creation is the collared jersey from the 1980 season. Offered here is a game-used jersey-pant combo from that 1980 season, worn by utility player Alan Bannister. Both garments contain the proper Capital Ace label with a 1980 Set flag in the collar, though the set number is undetermined due to wear on the label.
