With Bill Veeck at the helm, the Chicago White Sox began a roller coaster ride of unusual marketing promotions ranging from the absolutely brilliant to the utterly bizarre. One such creation is the collared jersey from the 1980 season. Offered here is a game-used jersey-pant combo from that 1980 season, worn by utility player Alan Bannister. Both garments contain the proper Capital Ace label with a 1980 Set flag in the collar, though the set number is undetermined due to wear on the label. This rare style uniform shows game use with no alterations of any kind. LOA from Grey Flannel, Mile High Card Co.
