Here’s a nice treasure for the unopened enthusiasts in the crowd: a 1979 Topps hockey unopened wax pack graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. The vibrant blue and yellow pigments of the wax wrapper appear as fresh as the day it left the factory, and while there is one very minor perforation in the top edge, the corners remain tight and the seal on the reverse is uncompromised. The real question, of course, is whether there could be a MINT or even GEM MINT Gretzky rookie contained within?
