Still an undervalued card, in our opinion, given the relative scarcity and his contribution to the game, presented is a wonderful PSA 9 MINT example of Julius Erving's 1972 Topps rookie card. This amazing specimen has avoided the two common pitfalls that prevent most examples from achieving a grade higher than NM. First off is the centering, often askew on the front and miscut on the reverse. The centering here is very admirable, and while the reverse is shifted toward the right, it's far better than most and upholds the standards for the MINT grade. And then there's the infamous white print circle that usually resides under "Dr. J's" left elbow on most cards, but not here. Solid MINT corners and edges surround a sun-soaked yellow background that has barely picked up any traces of stray print, another common malady that invariably prevents this level of greatness. If you've been chasing after a top-notch specimen of "The Doctor's" rookie card, this PSA 9 example is the one to catch!
