A four-time, 20-game winner for the Boston Braves, Johnny Sain teamed up with legendary Hall of Famer Warren Spahn to create one of the most formidable pitching duos of the 1940s. Offered is an amazing game-used jersey, worn by hurler Johnny Sain when he was a coach with the Chicago White Sox in 1972. With powder blue labels “Sain” and “72 Set 1” twill stitched into the collar and on the front left tail respectively, this zipper-down classic shows excellent use, with heavy fading and puckering of the aged letters and numbers and team repairs evident throughout. LOA from Grey Flannel, Mile High Card Co.
