One of the greatest switch-hitters ever to play the game, first baseman Eddie Murray lasted 21 seasons and smashed 504 home runs. While Murray was never the dominant offensive player in the game, he topped the 20-homer mark in 17 of 21 seasons and consistently batting at or near .300 with 90 or more RBI, earning him the nickname “Steady Eddie,” as well as a Hall of Fame induction in 2003. Murray is presently #25 on the All-Time home run list and #9 on the All-Time RBI list. Presented is a game-used Eddie Murray jersey, worn by the Cooperstown resident during his tenure in Baltimore. The Rawlings size 40 label appears on the front left tail, as does a Rawlings size 40 flag inside the left seam. All identifiers are white tackle twill stitched, and the jersey exhibits good game use, with particularly heavy marking at the end of the sleeves. LOA from Mile High Card Co.
