Elvin “the Big E” Hayes, known as one of the best power forwards in NBA history, played in 16 seasons during his illustrious career. He was named to the 50th and 75th NBA anniversary team and a two time NBA rebounding leader. During the 1973-74 season, he averaged an impressive 18.1 rebounds a game with the then Capital Bullets.
