It didn't happen above the rim like in today's NBA environment, but "Pistol" Pete Maravich possessed shooting and ballhandling skills that were unrivaled in his time. Offered here is a very stunning rendition of his rookie card, from the 1970-71 Topps "tall boy" release. This one has been deemed NM 7 by the stringent evaluators at SGC, due to a light touch to the lower right corner, but the deep, bold green backdrop, crystal clear image and clean, evenly spaced borders offer visual appeal in advance of the given technical assessment.
